The Rev. Phyllis Ann Spiegel was elected on April 30, 2022 to be the 12th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah. On Tuesday, June 21, the Standing Committee was notified that the required majority of bishops and standing committees with jurisdiction had consented to her election. The service of consecration for Bishop-elect Phyllis Spiegel on Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. will be held at The Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City. The Right Rev.
